on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th.

The Enfield Police Department is proud to present to residents of Enfield for the 56th consecutive year, "Toys for Joy". Toys for Joy is intended to help needy children throughout Enfield experience the joy of Christmas. Last year, the community helped the “Toys for Joy” program provide toys for over 475 needy families in Enfield. There were over 1000 children who received toys due to the help and support of Enfield’s community.

The "Toys for Joy" program is designed to collect new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations all year round and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children within Enfield's community. It is with the support and donations from local residents and businesses alike, that makes this all possible.

Toys for Joy Applicants:

Applications are available starting on Thanksgiving Day (November 24, 2011) at the Enfield Police Department located at 293 Elm Street
in Enfield Connecticut
Applicants must appear in person to register for Toys for Joy
Children can not exceed 10 years of age
Proof of residency is required
Application Deadline: Monday, December 19, 2011

Toys for Joy Pick-Up information:

Pick-Up dates: December 22nd and 23rd
Time for 12/22: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Time for 12/23: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Pick-Up location: Broyhill Furniture Store, 878 Enfield St., Enfield CT

Anytime (24/7) at the Enfield Police Department
